
FR-S/BRZ REMOTE dual caliper hydraulic e-brake setup - (10% combo discount)
The GKTECH Hydraulic e-brake setup with remote lever allows for the fitment of a hydraulic e-brake lever in situations where a traditional hydro design cannot fit.
Whether it is because of the shape of the centre console, the parking brake, or the gear shifter, the remote hydro can be a solution for when a traditional style hydro isn't.
The remote hydro relocates the master cylinder to a secondary bracket connected by a sleeved cable. This secondary bracket is thenĀ located approximately 23.62"( 600mm) behind the handle, out of the way.
By relocating theĀ master cylinder this greatly reduces the size of the bracket at the handle end, allowing it to fit in more applications.
Cable length included isĀ 21.85" (555mm) (this is the measurement between the e-brake cage and master cylinder bracket).
With our CNC machined aluminium e-brake handles the whole unit is lightweight although very strong after a significant amount of FEA to ensure loads were evenly distributed across the e-brake assembly.

Self explanatory, this is the e-brake assembly that houses the lever and master cylinder.
Braided lines:
Made in-house in Australia using stainless steel fittings and using stainless steel braided line with a PTFE outer these lines are made specifically to suitĀ Toyota 86/Subaru BRZĀ and even include the P clips to locate the line throughout your vehicle.
The Gktech brake lines have passed independent testing and are marked as complying to FMVSS106 standards, this means they continue to be ADR approved and are DOT compliant.
Master cylinder:
Choose between 5/8" and 3/4". For most setups our recommendation is 5/8" but more on that below in the FAQ's.
Chassis specific e-brake mount:
Our chassis specific e-brake mounts are designed to ensure that our e-brake assembly can be fitted in an optimal position without the need to cut or drill into your transmission tunnel.
E-brake handle:
This beautifully crafted CNC machined aluminium lever has been designed with ergonomics in mind whilst being aesthetically pleasing. Eg. it is comfortable and it looks good. Choose between silver, black, blue, pink, purple, red, orange, gold or neo chrome.Ā
Dual caliper brackets:
The GKTECH dual caliper bracket is used to physically mount the secondary caliper. Our brackets are by far the best kit on the market and allow the use of the OEM e-brake (with the use of the bolt kit, sold separately). If you are running aftermarket knuckles that already have the provision for dual caliper brackets (like ours)Ā then you don't need this bracket and it can be de-selected.Ā

This is an add on piece to our dual caliper brackets that allows you to use the OEM e-brake setup for parking. Highly recommended!
Note - For people choosing to have the handle next to the steering wheel, the handle does end up sitting in front of the start button although, it is still accessible.
We do have a start button relocation loom HERE if you did want to relocate the start button!
